The Opportunity
Mount Hospital is currently seeking a professional and customer/patient-focused Food Service Assistant to join the busy team of professionals on casual employment. We offer a supportive atmosphere and an extensive education program, so you get to grow in your role and achieve work-life balance. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
Key Functions Include:
1. Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
2. Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
3. Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment following hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards
About You
You will be a great team player who is willing to learn and enjoys working in a supportive multidisciplinary team.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
1. Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services or similar
2. Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
