We have an opportunity for a Finance Transformation Manager to join the team at our Sydney Head office on Castlereagh St. This role is currently being recruited as a 12 month contract.
The Opportunity - About the Role
In this newly created role you will be accountable for multiple workstreams in the Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting project, which is a critical part of Stockland’s Finance Transformation program. This position focuses on collaborating with key stakeholders from across the business, across finance and technology, to design and implement a Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting cycle which better supports the execution of our strategy and enhances operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Accountable for the delivery of key workstreams in the Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting project, ensuring workstream goals, timelines, and success criteria are met and align with the overall project
* Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and SMEs across business divisions (Development and Investment Management), Finance and other support functions (e.g. technology teams) to analyse the As-Is cycle, design, implement and embed the To-Be cycle
* Develop and implement robust change management strategies and plans, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and support, to ensure a smooth transition and sustainable adoption of new processes and systems.
* Partner closely with the Program Lead and other workstream leads to manage project scope, resources, risks, and timelines, ensuring proactive issue resolution and effective change management
* Foster and champion a culture of transformation and innovation by staying at the forefront and applying leading practices, collaborating with other teams to ensure a consistent and effective approach to transformation and provide coaching, guidance and support key stakeholders to build transformation and innovation capability
About You
You have a demonstrated experience in large-scale transformation programs or initiatives, preferably within a finance or corporate services environment. You also have a proven track record of delivering transformation or process improvements ideally in planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, systems, or tools, achieving measurable improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
Additionally, you bring experience working with cross-functional teams and engaging with diverse stakeholders, including senior management, to drive successful transformation outcomes. You are well-versed in project management methodologies and tools, with a solid understanding of risk management, resource allocation, and project governance.
This role requires someone with a High level of adaptability and resilience, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive change in challenging situations.
Education: Degree relevant area such as Business Administration, Finance, Project Management.
Certifications: Beneficial but not required - Lean Six Sigma, PROSCI, CCMP, PMP, PRINCE2.
