Minimum Requirements: Registered Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of AustraliaFellowship of the Royal Australian College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA) or other Specialist recognition as provided under the Staff Specialists (State) award.Demonstrated leadership skills within a complex health service with the ability to motivate and organise staff to achieve organisational, program and professional outcomes.Demonstrated ability and experience in clinical strategic planning and clinical leadership for the provision of programs and services consistent with the responsibilities of the position.Demonstrated success in driving improvements in clinical governance systems, accreditation and provision of healthcare services.Demonstrated experience in medical workforce management and supporting the delivery of medical education.Proven ability to design and lead change initiatives with the purpose of enhancing the delivery of care in a public health setting.Demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate with senior health professionals, management, external interest groups and government agencies.
