Role Overview
Reporting to the Software Support Manager, this role will involve providing high-quality support to their diverse customer base. You will handle support cases from initial contact to resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and communication. The position requires close collaboration with internal and external support teams, as well as clear documentation of all support activities.
Responsibilities
* Deliver frontline software support through various communication channels.
* Address and resolve software issues efficiently.
* Provide prompt and effective solutions to meet customer needs.
* Maintain high standards of customer service.
* Keep customers informed about the status and progress of their incidents.
* Coordinate with internal and external teams for issue resolution.
* Document incidents with detailed summaries, notes, and resolutions.
* Ensure complete ownership of incidents from logging to resolution.
* Focus on customer satisfaction throughout the support process.
* Utilise excellent communication skills to exceed customer expectations.
Candidate Profile
As an ideal candidate, you will have at least 12 months of experience in a customer-facing role within a helpdesk or application support environment. You should possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks. A passion for technology, experience with remote support tools, and a basic understanding of SQL and data analysis tools are desirable.
