**Job Title:** Team Leader - Waterways Division

The Role
Reporting to the Program Director, the Team Leader will lead a highly skilled team to develop and execute designated projects within the Waterways division.
The role's primary focus encompasses team leadership and development, project planning, implementation, and outcome reporting, as well as building stakeholder relationships and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
We seek a professional who can apply their leadership experience to unify the team and drive efforts to improve regional natural resources and environmental quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the planning, resourcing, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of the allocated sub-program to achieve NRM outcomes.
* Lead and manage allocated or associated staff for the respective projects and sub-programs.
* Represent Reef Catchments as part of key sub-program operations, meetings, and events.
* Foster a harmonious workplace and commitment to safety and health.
* Compliance with Reef Catchments policies, procedures, and processes.

The ideal candidate for this role is a motivated, self-starting professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to mentor others, foster strong partnerships and bring exceptional project management capability.
You should have a keen interest in achieving meaningful and sustainable natural resource management outcomes and an affinity for working with diverse stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Project management expertise, including proposal development, budgeting, reporting, and contractor oversight.
* People leadership and development experience, including mentoring field-based staff.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse client base.
* A valid driver's license.
