Flour Water Salt Bakery is a family-owned business belonging to Joost & Kirsty Hilkemeijer, operating bakery cafes in the charming seaside villages of Milton, Kiama, and Huskisson. Our wholesale bakery is located in the beautiful town of Berry. We also have outlets in South Nowra, Kiama, Huskisson, and Milton.
We believe you don’t have to do a million things, just a few and do those few right. We don’t offer countless types of breads, cakes, or sandwich varieties, just a few that we think are delicious and we hope that you will think so too.
At the heart of our business is artisan sourdough. The name says it all – our bread only contains three ingredients – organic flour, purified water, and Australian sea salt. Our organic bread is authentic sourdough as we use a natural leaven. We don’t add baker’s yeast or anything else you wouldn’t expect – we believe good bread should be made using the purest of ingredients.
