As the Assistant Director at Goodstart, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks. In this role, you will: Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care. Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team. Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence. Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide. About Goodstart: Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Stuart Park is located in the inner Darwin Area along the Stuart Highway. This makes the centre popular with people who work in Darwin City and for those who work in Palmerston. Our dedicated staff are warm and friendly and we have a number of staff members who are currently studying for their Certificate III or Diploma of Children's Services. We are lucky to have a swimming pool which helps us cool down on hot days. Our children learn where their food comes from first hand on our centre's vegetable patch and children help tend the garden which is enjoyed by all!
