The Role
As a Delivery Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and delivery of the Digital ID technology solution. This role entails collaborating with stakeholders, managing project activities, and ensuring the digital platform is implemented according to requirements and within defined timelines.
Key responsibilities for this role
As a Delivery Officer you will:
* Collaborate with stakeholders, analyse requirements, allocate resources, and plan tasks related to the delivery of the Digital ID technology solution.
* Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including regular planning, execution, monitoring, and coordination of activities related to the delivery of the Digital ID technology solution.
* Provide performance oversight for the development of the technology solution including regular reporting against timelines and KPIs.
* Manage the implementation process, including system configuration, integration, and ensuring proper testing and quality assurance.
* Provide training to users on how to use the Digital ID technology solution effectively and efficiently. This will include ongoing support and addressing user concerns/issues.
* Create, maintain, and obtain sign-off on frameworks, policies, governance and procedures relating to the ongoing use and support of the Digital ID technology solution.
* Communicate on the progress of the project, including updates and any potential issues to stakeholders, both internal and external.
* Identify potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies to minimise their impact.
* Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the performance and success of the Digital ID technology solution, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary enhancements or updates.
Selection criteria
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in:
* Proven experience in project management, preferably in digital platform implementation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software.
* Familiarity with digital platforms, databases, and web technologies.
* Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of compliance and security considerations for digital platforms is an advantage.
Highly desirable:
* Relevant accreditations such as ITIL, Agile or PRINCE2
* Familiarity with regulatory and security requirements for the Australian Federal Government
