Fundraising Support Officer

Are you a proactive, goal-driven, and autonomous individual with a passion for fundraising and customer service? Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) North Australia is looking for a Fundraising Support Officer who thrives on delivering exceptional service to our supporters and the community. Key Responsibilities:
* Be the first point of contact for supporters and the public, delivering warm, friendly, and informed interactions through email, mail, phone, and online platforms.
* Manage fundraising support enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to all enquiries, including program information requests, donor updates, receipts, thank-you messages and more.
* Support the development and execution of donor retention, thank-you strategies and targeted engagement programs.
* Proactively follow up on declined donations, aiming to resolve issues and retain donor support.
* Coordinate and supervise volunteers, contributing to RMHC North Australia's mission through volunteer engagement and training.
* Maintain data integrity in CRM systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and processing of donor information.
* Assist with grant applications and related administrative support to secure funding for RMHC North Australia's programs and services.
* Support the Community Engagement team with fundraising administration and marketing efforts.
* Identify opportunities to improve the supporter experience and contribute to creating a streamlined process across all fundraising activities.
Skills & Experience:
* Demonstrated experience in fundraising or sales with confidence in outbound calls (warm and cold).
* Demonstrated use of data management systems or CRM to manage donor engagement, data, process donations and support fundraising campaigns.
* A natural desire to build relationships with donors, volunteers and supporters, ensuring a positive and lasting impact.
* Self-motivated and driven to achieve fundraising targets while maintaining high service standards.
* Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in data entry, donor relations, and financial support.
* Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities while ensuring quality outcomes.
* Capable of conveying passion and enthusiasm for RMHC’s mission to inspire donor engagement.
* Demonstrated experience in grant or business case writing would be highly advantageous.

* Demonstrate strong administrative skills with experience in MS Office Suite and CRM systems.
* Previous experience in a call-based customer service environment is a plus.
