Outstanding opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join a leading manufacturing organisation in the West Your new company My client is searching for an experienced Engineering Manager, to take charge of their site based in Melbournes West. You will work internally with the wider engineering team, as well as work externally with key stakeholders & customers.This organisation not only offers bespoke manufacturing, but theyre leaders in their industry, delivering into transportation, defence, aerospace etc. Your new role As the distinguished Engineering Manager, you will be entrusted with leading a team of engineering professionals dedicated to the design and execution of new manufacturing projects, service initiatives, and production process enhancements. You will employ engineering principles to devise innovative and bespoke solutions. Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD 3D. Overseeing, planning, and monitoring engineering projects and workloads within the engineering team Contributing to the development and implementation of best practice engineering strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to enhance performance Providing manufacturing design and production drawings for all projects, supporting new product launches and product enhancements Driving process improvements to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of engineering procedures Ensuring adequate staffing levels, with responsibilities including recruitment, staff training and development, and providing support and feedback to meet KPIs and maximise productivity What you'll need to succeed As the distinguished Engineering Manager, you will be entrusted with leading a team of engineering professionals dedicated to the design and execution of new manufacturing projects, service initiatives, and production process enhancements.
