Job PurposeThis role will be responsible for facilitating operational requests from the Shipping lines, Rail Customers, transport operators, and Freight Forwarders in and out of Melbourne Container Park and ensure these are processed effectively to minimise disruption to depot operations.Please note this role is on afternoon shift.Key AccountabilitiesSupport gate, yard operations & centralised teamsPreparation of documentation for yard operationsLiaising with customers and key stakeholders for FCL and empty collection requirementsEnsure data integrity is maintained for all operational systemsCoordinating with yard supervisor on equipment requestsEnsure all plans are effective to minimise disruption to depot operationsConfirm completion of Import/Export and Quarantine deliveries with CustomersAQIS record keepingManage any discrepancies from the previous day operationsForecasting for daily operationsManage reefer operations, including yard checks and planningQualifications, Skills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will possess the following:Current drivers license3 years industry experience in a container park/logistics related roleExperience in data-entryKnowledge of Container Chain, 1-Stop and Transport Management Systems, desirableProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteSupporting EqualityDP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
