Our eating disorder program treats clients with a range of eating disorders via dedicated inpatient and outpatient programs. You will work with allied health, nursing, and medical staff to deliver a high-quality evidence-based therapy program.This is an ongoing permanent part-time to full-time role (0.4 to 1.0 EFT) with EFT and days negotiable.As a Mental Health Clinician, your responsibilities will include:Providing short-term interventions to inpatients with complex presentations using a variety of modalities.Facilitating groups within the Eating Program, and working across other TMC programs as required.Working within the Allied Health multidisciplinary team.Attending relevant multidisciplinary team meetings.Participating in the development and review of programs as necessary.Participating in the development and evaluation of policies as appropriate.Contributing to quality improvement and research projects.Our Mental Health Clinicians enjoy a wide range of benefits including:Career advancement opportunities, including graduate and registrar programs.Clinical supervision from a senior in your discipline.On-site regular professional development opportunities.Allocated allowance towards preferred Professional Development.Qualification in an allied health profession.Masters or Doctoral post-graduate qualification (desirable).Registration with AHPRA for your profession, or eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Workers, DAA for Dietitians, or ANZACATA for Art Therapists.Specialist training/credentialing in Eating Disorders (desirable).Experience working with individuals with an eating disorder.Experience with group facilitation.Experience in delivering at least one therapeutic modality is required, with more than one desirable.Experience with a trauma-informed approach and offering recovery-focused care.Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills.Ability to balance working autonomously and across a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to ongoing education and provision of evidence-based practice.Commitment to upholding high standards of ethical practice.Current Working with Children Check.All staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza and provide acceptable evidence of their vaccination status.Why Healthscope?We care about your career at Healthscope.
