This role involves teaching Pre-Primary to Year 6 students in the Primary School at South Coast Baptist College, located in the southern suburb of Waikiki, Western Australia.
The Primary School currently has 680 students from Kindergarten through to Year 6, with a dedicated team of teachers, teaching assistants, and administrators.Responsibilities :Teach music curriculum or alternately a Specialist Dance / Performing Arts program to Primary School students from Pre-Primary to Year 6.A knowledge of The Kodály approach to teaching Music would be an advantage.Attend weekly staff and professional learning team meetings.Demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning as part of the teaching profession, evidenced by development of programs and teaching methods.Implement and develop the music (or alternate specialist program as noted) across Term 2 of the 2025 academic year.Position Requirements – Education & Experience :A minimum of a Primary Teaching Diploma and bachelor's degree in education.Knowledge of music, (or other listed specialisation – dance, performing arts is required for this role.
