As our PC Business Partner for GB you will play a crucial role in shaping our people strategy and driving key HR initiatives. Alongside your fellow P&C friends, you'll be a trusted advisor, collaborating with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation to develop and implement innovative HR solutions that support our business objectives.
Your expertise in employee relations, talent management, performance management, and HR best practices will be instrumental in creating a thriving and engaged workforce.
Please note this is a Parental leave, Maximum Term contract through to January 2026.
How you'll make an impact
Here's a glimpse of what your role will entail:
* Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute strategic HR plans aligned with our GB goals.
* Provide expert guidance on complex HR matters, including employee relations, performance issues, and workplace investigations.
* Lead and facilitate talent management processes, including succession planning, performance reviews, and employee development programs.
* Implement and enhance HR policies, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
* Utilise HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and drive continuous improvement in HR processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational change initiatives and foster a positive culture.
* Coach and mentor HR team members, supporting their growth and development.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to HR initiatives.
About you
To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess:
* A solid background in HR with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and HR strategy.
* Extensive knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
* Proven experience in providing strategic HR advice to senior leaders and driving HR initiatives.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Relevant HR qualifications or certifications (e.g., Bachelor's degree in HR or related field) desirable.
