About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Lineworker, the primary purpose of this role is to undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks through the safe & effective work practices.
1. Study and interpret technical drawings and network line diagrams
2. Undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks in accordance with Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements
3. Comply with all WH&S policies and procedures pertaining to your role
Intrastate travel on a roster is required for this role, however Living Away from Home Allowance will be paid as described in the above EBA. Please refer to the QLD EBA (AE514373 (fwc.gov.au)) for pay rates associated with this role.
Relocation assistance is on offer and would be discussed the interview process.
About You
You will require experience in distribution line maintenance and construction and hold the relevant qualifications.
4. Current QLD Distribution Lineworker Licence
5. Valid Driver’s Licence (HR – highly desirable)
6. White/Blue Card
7. High motivated to achieve success
8. Good communication skills both written & verbal
9. Previous Ergon experience not necessary however it would be desirable
