And with $4.5 billion of secured work in our pipeline, you’ll have endless opportunities to grow your career.Built’s Construction team are currently involved in multiple projects ranging from $50M to $1 billion, with an enthusiastic individual invited to join the team immediately.Our Services Managers are responsible for efficiently coordinating the building services components and associated works of a major construction project. You will assist the project teams in understanding and solving services and design issues and you will also contribute to business development activities throughout the conversion process.The successful candidate will work with all relevant project staff but most closely with the incumbents in the following roles as applicable for a project:Quantity SurveyorsHere are the essentials you’ll need for this role:Previous experience as a Services Manager within the construction industryPrevious experience working with a 1st tier building contractor on large scale and major projectsTertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services EngineeringExperience in design and construction/installationExperience in commissioning of all servicesThe ideal candidate:Demonstrates ability to delegate, mentor and superviseHas the ability to negotiate and influence outcomesIs quality focused and can assess riskEnsures conflict is managed appropriatelyDisplays the ability to facilitate change and make decisionsDemonstrate thorough understanding of the services design and coordination process.Demonstrate thorough understanding of the building commissioning and handover process.Demonstrate understanding of process arranging utilities connections to the project.Demonstrated understanding of the NCC and building services related Australian Standards.Shows initiative and adaptabilityDemonstrates time management, planning and organisation skillsHas strong verbal and written communication skills and can easily build rapportDemonstrates administration and financial skillsWhy Built?Proudly Australian and privately owned, Built is the only construction company to offer a total solution across all built-forms, sectors and sizes.
