Your new role
As an Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the executive office. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing complex diaries and scheduling meetings
* Coordinating travel arrangements and preparing itineraries
* Handling confidential information with discretion
* Preparing and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
* Providing administrative support for meetings, including minute-taking and follow-up actions
* Assisting with special projects and events as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role within the public sector
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High level of professionalism and attention to detail
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate experience working in an executive assistant or branch coordinator role within the APS within the last 2 years. This role is only open to Australian citizens and you must have the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2 or TSPV)
