Associate Credit Portfolio ManagementCommonwealth Bank of Australia, Sydney, AustraliaSee yourself in our teamCapital Structuring is made up of customer centric product specialists who partner with relationship bankers to originate, structure, execute and monitor lending & leasing facilities.We provide the core end-to-end product and pricing infrastructure supported by a disciplined approach to governance that enables us to manage financial and non-financial portfolio risks.Credit Portfolio Management (CPM) is responsible for optimization and active management of IB&M's balance sheet and capital as well as supporting the pricing and origination of non-retail lending across the Group.Active Portfolio Management encompasses the distribution of risk from the portfolio to the bank, investor and insurance markets as well as adding risk through secondary loan markets where there is an appropriate return on capital.Do work that mattersYou will be responsible for the day to day management of these key strategic business tools, including but not limited to:Extract, prepare, manipulate and analyse data from relevant CBA databasesProduce regular data extracts and reports for various stakeholders across IB&M on risk-return pricing metrics, liquidity, commitment at offer, Industry sectorsRespond to ongoing business requests for specific analytics and reporting in support of strategy developmentRespond quickly to ad hoc requests for portfolio information from senior managementAssist with Active Portfolio Management activities through loan hold/sale analysisAssist as needed with specific team priorities relating to capital optimisation and optimising the return on IB&M credit portfolioAssist with the cost of funding analysis for IB&M clients and IB&M portfolioContinuously improve the data environment that supports analytics and reporting processesProvide DPX pricing transaction support to IB&M bankersWe are interested in hearing from people who have:We value team members who are highly motivated, hard-working and passionate about learning banking.This role will appeal to candidates with solid analytical, problem solving, communication skills.Candidates with strong technical analytical skills will be well regarded.Candidates should have experience with SQL and SAS or be interested in learning SQL and SAS.Ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data from various sourcesExperience with SAS, SQL, ExcelExperience with Tableau or other data visualization toolGeneral knowledge of lending, leasing, contingent liability and derivative productsAn understanding of risk adjusted return framework is preferredExcellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detailExcellent communication skillsAbility to work and learn in a team environmentAs the successful applicant you'll be rewarded with a structured career path within Institutional Banking and Markets business that offers a competitive market salary, annual performance incentives, and a flexible working environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
