About the role
We have an exciting opportunityfor a B2 LAME to join our dynamic and growing team on a 15:13 roster. If you are a qualified andexperienced licensed avionics technician, we want to hear from you.
As a B2 LAME, you will be responsiblefor the overall maintenance and serviceability of all avionics systems fittedto the aircraft that are stationed at the Broome base.
Reporting to the MaintenanceManager – Australia, you will play a pivotal role in the success of maintaininga safe and efficient workplace environment and providing great quality serviceto PHI’s Stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the roleinclude:
1. Demonstrate competency in ensuring Company aircraft airworthiness.
2. Function safely in the hangar / line environment.
3. Communicate effectively with aircrew and others.
4. Troubleshoot and rectify avionics faults.
5. Provide specialist technical knowledge regarding aircraft systems.
6. Maintain and protect the aircraft.
7. Assess / accommodate in aircraft and slung cargo.
8. Marshall, monitor and manage passengers.
To be considered for this role,you will need:
9. Experience in all aspects of line maintenance and defect rectification.
10. Experience working on dual pilot twin engine helicopters.
11. Hold a CASA B2 licence.
12. H175 type rated (preferred)
13. S92 type rated (preferred)
14. AW139 type rated (desirable)
