About The RoleCritical to our Fundraising efforts, this role is integral to rolling out specific signature, high-quality fundraising events for Star Ball. The Star Ball fundraising gala events are packed with entertainment and take place annually in Canberra, Darwin, and Sydney.
You will work within a small, dynamic Events team assisting the valued volunteer committees in implementing agreed fundraising projects from our Star Ball events portfolio. This will include the day-to-day coordination of several events per year, involving interstate travel, as well as developing exceptional relationships with the committees, internal teams, talent, volunteers, supporters & suppliers to support the incredible work of the National Star Ball Committees.
In more detail, this exciting, busy, and meaningful role will involve:
Project and event management in collaboration with CommitteesAdministrative support to the Star Ball Committees including meeting management, database management, communications, and liaison with regards to marketing collateral, guests, and suppliersManaging fundraising agreements as well as all financial processes including tracking and monitoring Star Ball budgets, income, receipting, and reporting to key stakeholdersEvent production such as stage management, show calling, run sheet development, talent liaison and fundraising activationsPreparing and conducting post-campaign reviews for reporting, analysis, and innovationTravel interstate to attend all National Star Ball's and Committee meetings when necessarySupport other National Events Team projects when called uponAbout YouYou're a high-energy, multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-moving environment. You love building relationships with diverse teams and external partners, and you're always up for taking ownership of any task. Whether it's helping organise large-scale events, managing the details, or finding new ways to improve processes, you've got it covered.
