In return, you will be a valued team member, offered flexibility, and experience a meaningful career in an exciting, ever-evolving aviation industry.The Role and TeamThe Payroll Operations Team is responsible for the maintenance and processing of employee records and transactions for all Airservices Australia employees covered under multiple enterprise agreements and individual contracts.Reporting to the Payroll Lead, the Payroll Officer will be responsible for processing and maintaining employee pay records, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time. Your duties will include but are not limited to:Processing of employee records including commencements, payments and deductions, and staff movements.Maintaining employee superannuation and taxation records.Input and reconciliation of leave entries and entitlements including Purchased Leave.Calculation and processing of employee terminations.Provision of advice to Airservices employees and Managers.Minimum RequirementsExperience in a fast-paced high volume work environment.Great communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive team culture.High level accuracy and attention to detail.Current or prior experience with payroll and/or payroll systems highly regarded but not essential as training will be provided.Security ClearanceTo be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian Citizen or have Australian permanent residency status and participate in a nationally coordinated criminal history check (NCCHC) prior to engagement.How to ApplyTo apply for this position please lodge an application online.
