We aim to enhance patient experience through improved service access, developing partnerships, meeting growth in demand, implementing innovative service models and ensuring workforce flexibility.About the role:The Physiotherapy team at GV Health is looking for a Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join our team, on a part-time basis at our Graham St campus. The AHA may assist the Physiotherapy team to deliver client centred services across the acute, subacute and outpatient areas of the hospital. The role involves completing a variety of direct and indirect clinical and administrative tasks. The AHA may assist a client to complete an exercise program, or activity of daily living, assist with facilitating a group program, order, clean and manage delivery of equipment, and assist with the co-ordination of resources required for health professionals and clients.The AHA will work within the Physiotherapy department but occasionally may work or be delegated appropriate tasks under the direction of other Allied Health Professionals such as Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians and Social Workers.
