B1.3 Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME)

THE ROLE
Based on the Sunshine Coast, Omni's Rotary Wing Maintenance Team are seeking a B1.3 LAME to join our highly skilled and diverse team. As a B1.3 LAME you will be responsible for supporting Omni's internal helicopter fleet and the aircraft of external customers. This role is to ensure all associated aircraft, engine maintenance and fleet AOG defects are covered and rectified in a timely manner. The LAME will report to the Maintenance Manager and is accountable for the successful delivery of work in accordance with the agreed maintenance plan.
Key Accountabilities
* Ensure all maintenance carried out is completed in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Manual, Civil Aviation Regulations and Aircraft or Engine Manufacturers Manuals.
* Verify all maintenance is certified in accordance with Omni's systems of certification.
* Deliver the maintenance work scope to the satisfaction of the client.
* Ensuring strict control of stores and distribution systems in accordance with the Procedures Manual.
* Maintain professional relationship with all maintenance stakeholders and sub-contractors.
* Promote the good health and safety of all team members in the workplace.
Essential Requirements
* Be an Australian Citizen
* Hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance or be willing to obtain one
* Have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
* CASA B1.3 Aircraft Licence
* Over 4 years practical experience
* Demonstrated experience on Bell and Airbus Helicopters
* Past experience on Rolls Royce, LTS and Arriel engines.
* Ability to use electronic maintenance program (e.g. Aerotrack)
Desirable Qualifications
* Recognised maintenance qualifications across multiple areas
* Type specific training
