Job Role: GTO Field Officer
The GTO Field Officer plays a crucial role in promoting Group Training Services throughout the community, placing employees into apprenticeships and traineeships, and supporting Apprentices and Trainees from commencement through to completion in their chosen field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses to promote Group Training Services
* Interview host businesses and potential job candidates, conduct aptitude tests, and place employees into apprenticeships and traineeships
* Induct and onboard Apprentices/Trainees to new workplaces
* Provide mentoring and employment support throughout an Apprentice or Trainee's time with us
* Conduct site visits with employers and engage in WHS training
* Develop our presence and brand in the community by selling our GTO services
* Perform general administration duties relevant to the role
About You
We are looking for a strong and adaptive communicator with previous experience in recruitment and sales. You will need to be able to multi-task, prioritise a big workload, and travel. Essential qualifications include a driver's licence and reliable transport, as well as a NSW Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain.
