Overview
The Blood Technician:
3. Is responsible for the assisting in the delivery of the blood Lead monitoring program, providing blood lead testing and monitoring of children, pregnant women and persons who may be 'at risk' of an elevated blood lead level.
4. Is responsible for applying knowledge and professional competence to contribute to comprehensive and integrated range of services which assists the Environmental Health Centre in meeting its objective of reducing the blood lead levels of Port Pirie's children and families, through an enhanced preventative program.
