Period of employment / Hours:
Permanent full-time (76.00 hours per fortnight) day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation)

Duties:
Primary Purpose / Focus :
The Consultant is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation and maintenance of frameworks, supporting plans and resources to underpin Homes Tasmania’s strategic governance framework. This includes but is not restricted to:
2. Organisational planning and performance reporting;
3. Risk Management;
4. Delegations;
5. Governance related Departmental committees.
The role will also:
6. Provide specialist advice and guidance to the Manager Office of the CEO, Senior Consultant, Executive, and CEO in the implementation of related plans and performance reporting requirements;
7. Support the delivery of Executive Services to the Minister’s Office, CEO and Executive. Support senior management to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Skills and experience :
8. Demonstrated research and analytical skills, that can be applied to developing, implementing, reporting on the performance and maintenance of strategic governance and risk frameworks.
9. Demonstrated ability to use judgment, initiative, and discretion in dealings with ministerial and parliamentary officers and processes and to provide support to team members in their dealings with ministerial and parliamentary officers and processes.
10. Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills, including consultation, communication, and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with and support business units.
