The Pharmacy Department at the Rockhampton Hospital manages all medications across the hospital, including the preparation and supply of all inpatient medication on the wards, and prescription and dispensary services for patients visiting the hospital.
About the role:The Senior Pharmacist will provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to their designated acute ward areas, and/or outpatient clinics.
The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary clinical rounds/meetings within the clinical care environment, contribute to the development of unit guidelines and procedures and participate in a broad range of Quality Use of Medicines initiatives.
About you:Degree in Pharmacy from a recognised tertiary institution (or equivalent).Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Pharmacist in Australia (or eligible for registration in Australia).While not mandatory, a graduate diploma or masters qualification in an Pharmacy-related field would be well regarded.Demonstrated high level of knowledge, expertise and skill in clinical pharmacy in appropriate specialist area.What we offer:Total remuneration value of up to $13,113 p.m. is comprised of:
