Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant
We are seeking experienced pharmacy assistants to join our client, a Federal Government Agency. This role is ideal for individuals with dispense experience in a hospital or community setting looking to transition into the public sector.
The Role and Responsibilities:
You will work in a call centre environment answering queries and providing information about the Australian Government's Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing high-quality customer service and timely advice on pharmaceutical issues
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Experience as a Dispense Technician
* A minimum Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent qualifications
* A good understanding of the Australian Government Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
* Sound judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new systems
* Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
