Be part of something more.A bit about the role Due to internal movement, we have a temporary leadership opportunity to lead Wyndham City's strategic approach to the growth and development for Maternal Child Family Health & Wellbeing services.As the Coordinator of Maternal Child and Family Health and Wellbeing, you will lead a passionate and dedicated team of inspirational leaders, committed to delivering services they provide to the community.You will empower them to deliver high quality responsive and integrated family health and wellbeing services including maternal and child health (MCH) services, immunisation services, and parenting support programs.Leading a multi-disciplinary team, you'll inspire and enact change within your multi-site team to push the boundaries of what is possible in order to deliver positive family outcomes. You will collaborate closely with our external service partners to test and try innovative ways of service delivery, driving positive reform and ultimately delivering a holistic service offering that is purposeful, accessible and human-centred.In this role, you'll be responsible for positioning our service to meet the growing needs of the community by driving the delivery of our current vision and strategy, while continuously seeking efficiencies and innovative solutions to enhance service delivery.As part of the Community Support Leadership Team, you will also contribute to shaping and delivering of our strategic priorities and drive an organisational culture that delivers high-quality services and outcomes, creating self-sustaining communities across the life stages.What you will deliver Strong, trusted and inspiring leadership to a transitioning multi-disciplinary team of professionalsPositive organisational culture change managementInnovative integrated service delivery across a broad scope including MCH, immunisations and family servicesInfluential partnerships with diverse stakeholders including MAV, state government and health providersThe development and management of the Unit's business planning, budget and strategic reportingPositive engagement and advocacy to enable the diversification of funding and programsA considered approach to increasing key ages and stages visits and workforce capacityWhat you will bring Mandatory Qualifications to practice as a MCH Nurse in Victoria: Current registration as both an APHRA Registered Nurse (Division 1) and Registered Midwife, as well as postgraduate Diploma/Degree (or equivalent) in Child and Family Health Nursing.In addition: The ability to inspire and motivate diverse teamsA track record in driving positive cultural change and process reformThe confidence to influence and deliver bold ideasExceptional emotional intelligence with a strategic orientationExperience (or comfort in) liaising with stakeholders to the highest level, both verbal and writtenAccreditation as an MCH nurse as defined in the MCH Service Guidelines and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and Registered MidwifeA positive, curious and flexible mindBe part of something more Take a look at our job opportunities and you may be surprised at what you discover: a future-focused culture, a sense of purpose and possibility, and real opportunities to strengthen our diverse community.
