Well established organisationPermanent, hybrid roleStrong MS Excel skills, Oracle a bonusAs the Management Accountant, you will assist the finance team in undertaking financial operations, ensuring proper accounting practices, and providing accurate and timely financial and management reporting.You will also assist in compliance reporting and budget preparation. Main Responsibilities include: Preparing monthly General Ledger Reconciliations for Balance Sheet accountsPreparation of monthly BASPreparation of monthly Payroll Tax returns for all StatesPrepare month-end journals for upload to the general ledger systemAssist with the preparation of the Monthly P&L and Balance SheetAssist with analysis of business performance and identify reasons for variance to Budget/Prior YearAssist with annual Budget preparation and reportingWeekly and monthly sales reportingInternal management reporting as requiredAdhere to and enforce business and system controlsComplete Australian Bureau of Statistics surveysSupport for AR and AP teams if requiredInvolvement in finance department's ad-hoc projects and assist team members as neededEssential skills and experience needed to be considered: Must have demonstrated experience in a similar roleMust have solid MS Excel skillsMust be Degree qualifiedCPA qualification or working towards CPA is neededSkills in Oracle highly regarded but not essentialSound like a role you are keen on?
