Rex is Australia’s largest independent regional and domestic airline operating a fleet of 57 Saab and 8 Boeing -NG aircraft to 57 destinations throughout all states in Australia. In addition to the airline Rex, the Rex Group comprises wholly owned subsidiaries Pel-Air Aviation (air freight, aeromedical and charter operator), two pilot academies (Australian Airline Pilot Academy in Wagga Wagga & Ballarat), and Australian Aero Propeller Maintenance (AAPM).
The Rex Group is seeking expressions of interest from a commercially focussed individual to join the Network Strategy Team as a Revenue and Pricing Analyst.
The primary function of this role is to maximise revenue performance on flights operated by the Rex group across the Domestic and Regional Networks. We are seeking an individual with strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound business decisions based on analysis of market performance.
Reporting to;
This position reports to the Manager, Revenue Management and Pricing with a strong focus on maximizing revenue and profit.
Responsibilities;
1. Analysis of market performance to understand changes in demand and make adjustments to inventory accordingly.
2. Implementation of Revenue Management and Pricing initiatives to improve flight and route performance.
3. Produce clear and effective performance measurement reports from large volumes of data.
4. Monitoring and reviewing competitor strategies.
5. Developing and implementing inventory strategies on assigned markets.
6. Make Pricing recommendations on assigned routes to improve revenue performance.
7. Maximising revenue through daily use of the Revenue Management System.
8. Proactively communicating market performance to management and relevant stakeholders.
9. Provide Management reporting and other commercial analysis as required.
