Chandler Macleod is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to support the team at Baiada, Beresfield.
Passionate about producing premium quality poultry products through the Lilydale Free Range and Steggles brands, our client Baiada, have been bringing Australian families together at the dinner table since 1919!
Delivering fresh poultry to local retailers and value-adding products to Quick Service Restaurants and food service customers, Baiada are leading the way in the industry through innovation and setting high standards around process and efficiency, which ensures they deliver millions of high quality products every year.
About the Role:
* Monitoring activities during production
* Maintenance and improvement of Quality Systems
* Conducting internal audits
* Preparation and participation in external audits
* Lab sampling preparation and analysis
* Data entry, filing, and reporting activities
* Verification of completed daily paperwork
* Product evaluations
* Collecting product samples
* Product evaluation including fresh and frozen product
Requirements:
* Food Technology degree/qualification (preferred, but not essential)
* Excellent communications skills
* Comfortable working around raw poultry
* Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment
