About the Opportunity
Join our growing Star of the Sea Kindergarten & OSHC team based in Merrimac. We are looking for Early childhood Educators to work on a casual basis and harness work-life balance. We are seeking enthusiastic and fun-loving educators who are passionate about supporting children in their early years.

Key Responsibilities:
* Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
* Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
* Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
* Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
* Participate in professional and personal development.
* You will be pivotal in developing our children's lifelong love of learning.
* Can build a strong rapport with our families, educators, and community.
Job Requirements:
* An ACECQA approved school age qualification. A range of study areas may be recognised including: behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation, and human welfare studies.
* Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
* Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
* A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
* Effective workplace communication skills
