PQ Tasmania Healthcare Supplies (PQTHS) is locally owned and operated by the ParaQuad Association of Tasmania. The key focus of both organisations is supporting Tasmanians with Spinal Cord Injury and Physical Disability. PQTHS is entering an exciting growth phase and is seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team in the role of Online Marketing Officer.
The role reports to the Manager PQTHS and will see you play a crucial part in expanding the company's digital presence and enhancing its online identity. The role will focus on further developing and maintaining a user-friendly and visually appealing website and social media platforms that enhance the customer's interaction with PQTHS, including the purchase of its product range. The role will also overlap with other areas that will add value to customer engagement, including educational information and supplier advertising.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a responsive customer-friendly website and social media platforms that align with the company's branding and market objectives. Create engaging visual content to enhance the website's presence and aesthetics. Optimise website performance and user experience. Implement website search engine optimisation to help improve the website's visibility and customer traffic. Monitor and analyse website and digital marketing performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement. Support marketing activities, events, and campaigns. Graphic design such as brochure layout, digital assets, image, and video editing in line with Brand Guidelines. Manage and execute social media marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and audience engagement. Assist in the development of marketing plans and alignment with website requirements. Participate in cross-functional projects as required. Candidate Requirements: Tertiary Qualification in marketing, communications, or similar. 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communication, or similar. Proficiency in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud, Figma, or Sketch. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and the ability to translate designs into responsive web pages. Understanding of search engine optimisation best practices and experience in implementing effective strategies. Experience in social media marketing. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret website and digital marketing data. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. An eye for detail is a must.
