About the Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Thirsty Camel Business Development Manager South Australia on a full-time basis.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving IBA membership relationships, achieving sales budgets and building the IBA footprint in the highly competitive liquor market seeking out opportunities to increase the membership base in the Thirsty Camel network.
This role is based in South Australia (Adelaide) reporting to the State Sales Operations Manager (Central region).
In this Role Build and maintain customer relationships in the Off-Premise channels.Sound understanding of Territory Management including call cycle / territory plan and supplier relationships.Managing the existing territory customer base, sales growth opportunities, Margin expectations, and Key Customer group Negotiations.Managing state level marketing promotions and present all ALM initiatives.Handling administration by maintaining accurate customer records, weekly sales reporting, market intelligence and cost control.You're Likely a Match If Proven experience within a sales-based role.Sound knowledge of the liquor industry and ability to provide a high level of customer service.Sound negotiation skills and proven track record of achieving budgets, plus the ability to set and manage deadlines.Intermediate Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook.Strong CRM Management.Life at Metcash Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
