Universal Cranes is a privately owned family business that operates mobile crane hire branches throughout Queensland and New South Wales. We have a fleet of 200 cranes ranging from 3T to 1200T, including minicranes, Frannas, all-terrains and crawler cranes. Universal Cranes began as a family crane hire business in 1993 and has grown to become a national crane hire company. About the Role: To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate great communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and cohesively with the broader team. You will have a proactive mindset, be a team player, and have the flexibility to meet the changing needs of the business.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, duties include but are not limited to: Oversee the day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth workflow Uniform / PPE ordering and maintenance Booking / Managing travel arrangements Maintaining the office space and re-stocking office supplies Accounts payable and receivable processing and reconciliations Identify opportunities for procedural and continuous improvement Managing the filing of documentation Verify and validate timekeeping information and liaise with payroll for processing Coordinate training and inductions for field staff Maintain compliance documentation for personnel and equipment About you: Minimum 3 years of administration experience in a similar role Experience with Management Controls Inc (MCI) TRACK system (preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Diary management skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook Strong organisational and time management skills Experience with NetSuite Oracle (preferred) Intermediate skills in MS Excel and Word Universal Cranes is committed to equal employment opportunity and embraces diversity and inclusion within its workforce.
