An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join the People & Culture team at Latrobe Regional Health on a full time, ongoing basis.
As Health & Safety Advisor, you will drive and proactively support the Health and Safety (H&S) programs, systems and risks associated with operations for employees, patients and visitors of Latrobe Regional Health (LRH).
The successful candidate will ensure that occupational health and safety policies, procedures, activities and functions promote the achievement of organisational objectives and strategies that comply with relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and standards. This role would suit someone looking to contribute to a fast paced, ever changing health environment. A proactive and innovative working style, coupled with sound customer service, administration and relationship building skills will see you succeed in this role.

We are looking for candidates with:
9. Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety or required field
10. Broad experience in H&S legislation, regulations, codes of practice and standards
11. Experience in promoting and leading a positive and engaged safety culture through interactions, behavioural safety programs and assurance activities in a large, multi-campus organisation
12. Ability to analyse data, develop reports and provide recommendations to senior management and executive
13. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
