This recruitment pool will run for a period of twelve (12) months and may be used to fill ongoing permanent opportunities.
Currently, there are two (2) permanent positions available for immediate filling.

About the role
The Industrial Relief Instructor will provide relief assistance to manage, organise and control aspects of, and operate in, various services or industrial workshops, including but not limited to, metals, cabinet and construction industries, to maintain routine of the area while an officer is absent and/or on leave, to support prison operations. The position provides on-the-job instruction, accredited training and supervision to prisoners who work in this area. The position holds a supervisory role over other staff in this area.
Minimum Qualifications
To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia. A minimum qualification of Certificate 3 is required in at least one of the following areas:
* Maintenance
* Mechanical
* Metal Work
* Cleaning
