Join a global company as a Load Planner based in Queensland. About The Company: Our client is a large food company specializing in meat processing and export. It is one of Australia's biggest meat processors, supplying high-quality products to international markets, including Asia, North America, and the Middle East. The company focuses on sustainability, ethical practices, and offers a range of fresh, frozen, and value-added meat products for retail and foodservice sectors. The Role: Continuously analyse and optimise load plans to maximise transport efficiency, reduce costs and minimise dwell times. Incorporate feedback loops for improvement based on plan attainment. Use analytics and historical data to proactively adjust load plans to align with production trends and market needs. Maintain key performance indicators to track load planning accuracy and efficiency. Act as the liaison between Sales, Production Planning, and Logistics to align load planning strategies with broader organisational goals. Proactively escalate potential issues or bottlenecks with cross functional impact. Utilise the ERP system to build and manage daily and forward load plans. Maintain and update master data in relevant systems to ensure accuracy and reliability. Extract, analyse and interpret logistics data to make informed decisions. About You: Proven experience in logistics, supply chain operations or production planning, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience in developing and executing load plans, including managing forward planning for multiple days. Demonstrated ability to analyse logistics data, interpret trends, and generate actionable insights. Previous experience working with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Production, and Transport, to balance competing prioritise and align objectives. Familiarity with transport regulations, export documentation requirements, and containerisation standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (Intermediate functions like XLOOKUP and pivot tables). Familiarity with PowerBI is helpful. Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and other transport considerations. Strong Communication, problem-solving and time management skills.
