This pivotal role provides clinical, educational, and professional mental health services, supporting both regional South Australia and the Rural and Remote Mental Health Service (RRMHS). As a key member of the LCLHN team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the delivery of mental health services across the region.About the RoleAs a Mental Health Consultation Liaison Consultant, you will work in close partnership with a wide range of stakeholders to provide expert advice, clinical leadership, and education on mental health issues. Your role will focus on providing consultation, liaison, and mentorship to Mental Health (MH) clinicians and staff throughout the Limestone Coast Local Health Network, helping them enhance their capacity to respond to and manage mental health consumers.You will:Provide expert clinical consultation to teams across the LCLHN, supporting the management of individuals with complex mental health needs.Mentor and educate staff in evidence-based mental health practices, improving the skills and confidence of clinicians in managing a variety of mental health conditions.Collaborate closely with the Rural and Remote Mental Health Service (RRMHS), contributing to the development of integrated mental health care strategies across the region.Play a leadership role in the ongoing development of mental health services, supporting clinicians through ongoing training, case consultation, and professional guidance.Enhance service delivery by promoting the implementation of best-practice mental health interventions and ensuring the integration of mental health services into general healthcare settings.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mental health professional who is eager to make a positive impact on the delivery of mental health services in rural and regional South Australia.Why Join UsMake a real difference and feel like an important part of the community.
