We are a committed team who embed equity, access, cultural relevance and safety within our programs because every child deserves to be set up for success in life.Your New Job BPA is searching for an experienced Communications and Marketing Manager, who is committed to utilizing their experience ideally in or with the early childhood sector, their high quality skills, knowledge and experience to support our organisation.As the Communications and Marketing Manager, you will work collaboratively with the Executive Leadership team to oversee the implementation of a range of strategic and operational communications and marketing initiatives. This role will focus on providing strategic and operational leadership and direction on the organisational communications and marketing responsibilities, goals and initiatives. On a day-to-day basis you will: Provide strategic and operational leadership in the provision of quality and compliant communications and marketing services and provisions.Lead the implementation of the communications and marketing strategic and operational goals and initiatives.Work with a multi-disciplinary team of leaders and staff members, internal and external stakeholders to strengthen communications and marketing channels and information flow across the organisation.Lead and oversee communications and marketing data and analytics and provide periodic reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and BPA Board as required.Contribute and collaborate to organisational reporting data and develop reports providing analysis, insights and trends to identify new opportunities or strategies to engage target audiences and maintain a competitive edge.Provide high level advice, guidance and best practice information to the Executive Leadership Team, Early Years Team and service Leaders/Supervisors to build high performing and engaging communications and marketing campaigns.Plan, direct and continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of communications and marketing.To succeed, you will be committed to quality and have: Previous experience in a senior Communications or Marketing or equivalent role.Sound knowledge and experience across the full spectrum of Communications and Marketing strategy and operations.Ideally, some experience in or with the early childhood education and care sector.Media and reputation management experience.Proven experience in public relations, implementing successful communications and marketing campaigns.Proven experience with brand enhancement and public presence.Demonstrated experience with website management, content creation and design.Experience in the application of relevant legislation and compliance requirements for digital media, social media and journalism.Excellent attention to detail, written, verbal and communication skills.Well-developed strategic and operational project management skills and experience in implementing new initiatives.Ability to think of out-of-the-box.Solution-focused and able to exercise initiative to troubleshoot issues.Highly developed communication, influence and stakeholder engagement skills.High level of professionalism and confidentiality.Strong alignment with the values of BPA Children's Services.The successful candidate will ideally have: Postgraduate Degree in Communications or Marketing, Business Management or equivalent or extensive demonstrated experience.An inclusive and supportive professional approach.The ability to develop effective and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A solid understanding of policies, procedures and regulations.A desire to continually learn and add value to our team.The right to work in AustraliaValid Criminal Records CheckValid Working with Children CheckValid Driver's Licence to drive in AustraliaWhat is in it for you?
