Permanent Sydney Hybrid working arrangement The role is primarily responsible for credit risk approval and management of a portfolio of Institutional Infrastructure and utilities related clients, including clients adjacent to the sector (such as contractors, transportation and service providers linked to the sector). The role also requires close relationship with Project Finance and Acquisition Finance teams. You will be a key member of the wider EIR Credit team responsible for the Energy, Infrastructure and Natural Resources portfolios. The team also supports Financial Markets and Product teams in the approval and management of credit risk arising from trading and structured products. What do I need? Ability to act independently, think innovatively, solve problems and exhibit a collaborative growth mindset. Extensive years of experience in a credit related analytical role. Previous delegated authority to approve credit risk would be preferable, with experience in the infrastructure-related sectors (including project finance) and acquisition finance product is considered highly desirable. Previous experience in credit analysis of the Energy (including Utility assets, Oil & Gas and Renewable assets) and Resources (Metals & Mining) sectors, and/or financial market transactions is not essential, but would be viewed positively. Strong communication skills, excellent negotiating and influencing skills and a commercial mindset to appropriately balance risk and return objectives Why join us?
