Key Responsibilities
1. Process and submit warranty claims to manufacturers or suppliers promptly and accurately.
2. Review and verify all warranty paperwork to ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturer guidelines.
3. Track and manage the status of warranty claims, ensuring timely payments and reimbursements.
4. Organize and maintain warranty documentation and records for audit purposes.
5. Serve as a point of contact for service technicians and customers regarding warranty-related inquiries.
6. Monitor manufacturer recalls and service bulletins, ensuring claims are processed accurately and promptly.
7. Provide administrative support related to warranty processing and reporting.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in a warranty clerk role or within an automotive service department is preferred.
2. Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
3. Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple tasks.
4. Proficiency in relevant computer systems, especially dealership software, is a plus.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. A basic understanding of automotive systems and warranties is advantageous but not essential.
Hours
1. Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with potential for occasional additional hours during peak periods.
