About the role: As the School Technical Officer you will assist in managing the operation of a school's information and communication technology (ICT) network services in order to contribute to the enhancement of student learning opportunities. Responsibilities include: Advising on the acquisition, installation, maintenance, and replacement of ICT equipment. Offering technical support and guidance to staff and students, ensuring alignment with policies and network standards. Assisting with staff training on effectively using ICT tools for educational purposes. Providing prompt and effective support to resolve computing issues. Performing regular maintenance, repairs, and ensuring the functionality of ICT equipment. Maintaining records related to ICT infrastructure and services. Communicating with internal and external stakeholders on technical issues. Our ideal candidate would possess these qualities: Technical expertise in server hardware, networking peripherals, and desktop/laptop systems. Familiarity with Apple iPads and printer support. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Understanding of network security, LAN/WAN, and remote support tools.
