Responsibilities: Ensure that service is at all times performed in a professional manner and to the style as specified by the management team Lead the floor teams during service to ensure they are operating in the best way possible to offer an excellent guest experience Have a full understanding of all menus and dishes served in the restaurant paying particular attention to allergens to ensure the safety of our guests Ensure that cash up and till reconciliation is completed diligently Closing the restaurant, making sure the venue is diligently checked for cleanliness and the building is secure before departure Have full knowledge and understanding of the Marmelo sequence of service and to follow it at all times Effectively communicate with other restaurant staff and departments Ensure all guests' wishes are met as far as is reasonably possible Oversee to ensure mise en place, cleaning and service in the restaurant are delivered to the highest standard To ensure that all tasks set are completed in the time allocated and to the standard set by the company Induct and train new members of staff Report all comments/complaints/problems to the management team All opening, mid-service and closing checklists are completed diligently and filed correctly Ensure that service is always discrete, efficient and guest focused Attend all trainings, briefings and meetings To be responsible for all floor team duties and checking their tasks are being done in a professional manner and to the standards specified by the management team To maintain common areas in a clean and tidy manner Help to maintain a good working environment within the department and good working relationships with all other departments in the building Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail service Proficient in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
