Programmed is currently recruiting for asphalt labourers to assist our client in Tamworth. Our client is a leader in asphalt paving, pavement construction and maintenance. Providing asphalt products and materials for surfacing and maintenance of road networks.
About your new role:
* Monday to Friday day work, overtime and weekend work available
* General labouring duties
* Repairing roads, raking, shovelling and smoothing out asphalt
* Working outdoors in the elements, all year round
* Physical work involving manual handling, lifting and duties of a repetitive nature
* Work sites based around Tamworth area but travel and overnight stays required for some projects
* Great team environment
About you:
* Hold a current drivers licence, HR - HC licences highly adventageous
* Hold an RII/VOC in roller operations and proven experience is highly adventageous
* Have an excellent attitude towards safety
* Willing to travel away for work and ability to work weekends as required
* Hold a White card
* Be able to provide current work references
* Willing and able to complete online inductions and drug and alcohol screening as part of recruitment process
