A Pool will also be running for a period of 12 months for fixed-term, full-time, part-time, or permanent appointments as vacancies become available. About the role: The Learning and Engagement Officer's role is to develop, implement and evaluate high quality public education programs, experiences and resources relating to the WA Museum. For this purpose, the role is required to become familiar with the content of the exhibitions and collections in the Museum.
Special conditions: Work outside normal business hours and on weekends is required, on occasion.
About you: Are you a confident and experienced educator or cultural programmer with a flair for developing audience-focused public and/or education programs from concept to delivery? You are passionate about lifelong learning, and are comfortable integrating digital tools to facilitate contemporary programs and collaborative learning.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
Develop creative, innovative and layered programs, experiences and interpretation which foster and integrate lifelong learning opportunities to be delivered on and off site.Oversee the design and implementation of visitor experiences which enhance the Museum visit from concept to production, as well as the training of Museum staff and volunteers for delivery of these experiences.Ensure that the education programs that are developed align with the curriculum.#J-18808-Ljbffr
