The primary function of the role is to lead the frontline services teams in an efficient and effective manner, providing best value for the community by embracing innovation and technology, whilst maintaining high service levels.
Reporting to the Executive Leader Community Assets and Design, and assisted by a capable team, responsibilities include the leadership and oversight of:
1. Parks Services - Parks and reserves, public open space
2. Road Services - Urban and rural roads, drainage and bridges
3. City Services - Urban road pavements and public footpaths
4. Waste Services - Disposal Site and Transfer Stations
5. Fleet Services - all of Councils major plant, equipment and light fleet
6. Operations Administration Office - Purchasing Agents, Administration, Customer Service

Relevant qualification/s and/or a demonstrable track record of success in a similar broad role/s will be critical to success, and experience in local government or a transferrable sector/s will be important.
