About us:The Pharmacy Department at the Rockhampton Hospital manages all medications across the hospital, including the preparation and supply of all inpatient medication on the wards, and prescription and dispensary services for patients visiting the hospital.We provide medication management services to inpatients, outpatients and day admitted patients at facilities located across the Hospital and Health Service.Home Advance Rockhampton About the role:Demonstration of high-level knowledge, skill and expertise will be recognised by experience, professional development, post-graduate education or other formal qualifications and active participation in the SHPA ClinCAT assessment on a regular basis.
Deliver base level clinical pharmacy services (which may include dispensing (inpatient, outpatient, and discharge), requisition, medication reconciliation, drug information, counselling and recommendation) in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.Work cooperatively and effectively within the team and with patients/clients.Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the team and by engaging in professional development activities.About you:The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in pharmacy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Pharmacist in Australia (or eligible for registration in Australia).What we offer:Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a.
