The successful applicant leads and manages the FSFHG Service 6 Allied Health Education and Allied Health Assistant Services in accordance with Hospital policies, objectives and priorities, and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) strategic directions. Responsible for the administration, direction, control, financial management and performance of both services at Fiona Stanley, Fremantle, and Cockburn hospitals. Works collaboratively with all Allied Health Heads of Department, Clinical and Corporate Education providers within FSFHG and WA Health, and external education providers in the private, tertiary and VET sectors to ensure appropriate service delivery.Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.Cockburn Health is a stand-alone 75 bed inpatient facility. The hospital is non-authorised hospital, and for voluntary female patients only. FSH Cockburn Health provides inpatient services for:Eating Disorders.Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Behavioural and Withdrawal Management.SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.Our vision is Excellent health care, every time.
